Garrision Academy for Teacher Education

Ex-Chairman, LGES, Maj General Liaqat Ali (R) HI (M), envisioned a training institute to offer free of cost professional development to all LGES Teacher across the board. The plan was launched on 15th January 2015; GATE started working in 2 X rooms at Garrison Boys High School (GBHS).

• Foundation stone: 15th April 2015
• Inauguration Ceremony: 28th October 2015
• The First Director GATE: Ms. Waseema Ahmad, ex-principal APS Boys Sarwar Road

GATE was handed over to Regional Director (RD) (Dir Academics / Training) in March 2018.

Mrs Tehmeena Jafri joined LGES Sectt as RD on 5 October 2020, GATE is was working under her overall supervision.

Ms. Sadia Noman ex-principal APS Boys Sarwar Road, is the second Dir GATE: Admin matters and trainings are now monitored by her. However, security of the inst comes in the responsibility of APS Boys Sarfraz Rafiqui Road.
